Last Updated: 20 January 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to all competitions operated by Competiown Ltd (Company No. 15752454) via https://www.competiown.co.uk/ (“Website”).
These Terms & Conditions govern use of the Website and participation in all Competitions operated by the Promoter.
1. The Promoter
The promoter of all competitions is:
Competiown Ltd
The Bristol Office, 2nd Floor

Email: admin@competiown.co.uk
Website: www.competiown.co.uk
2. The Competitions
2.1 All prize draws, competitions, and instant win promotions operated by the Promoter are referred to as “Competition(s)”.
2.2 Multiple Competitions may run simultaneously, each with its own prize description, entry limit, ticket price, and closing date as displayed on the Website.
2.3 Each Competition includes a qualifying skill-based question which must be answered correctly before entry is accepted. A free postal entry route is available for every Competition and provides an equal chance of winning to paid entries. The availability of this free entry route ensures that Competitions do not constitute lotteries under the Gambling Act 2005.
2.4 Each Competition will close on the stated closing date or earlier if the maximum number of entries is reached.
2.5 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or close a Competition early at its discretion. Where a Competition is cancelled, refunds or account credits will be issued in accordance with clause 6.7.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Competitions are open to persons aged 18 years or over who are residents of the United Kingdom.
3.2 Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.
3.3 By entering a Competition, you confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you are legally permitted to enter; and
- you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
3.4 Proof of age and identity may be required before a prize is awarded.
4. How to Enter
4.1 Online Entry
To enter online you must:

Entries are confirmed once payment has cleared and the entry appears in your account.
4.2 Postal Entry (Free Entry Route)
One free postal entry per person per Competition is permitted.
Postal entries must include:
- full name;
- date of birth;
- email address;

Bulk or mechanically generated entries are not permitted. Postal entries are treated equally to paid entries.
5. Entries
5.1 All entries must be received before the Competition closing date.
5.2 A maximum of one hundred (100) entries per person per Competition applies across all entry methods. Entries exceeding this limit will be void.
5.3 The Promoter reserves the right to reject or disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, abusive, generated via multiple accounts, or otherwise in breach of these Terms.
5.4 All entries are final. No refunds are provided except where a Competition is cancelled.
5.5 No method of entry, and no number of entries submitted up to the permitted maximum, guarantees success or materially influences the outcome of a Competition.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
6.1 Winners are selected at random from all valid entries using an independently verifiable random selection process, following successful completion of the qualifying skill-based question. Paid and free entries are treated identically.
6.2 Draws may be live streamed where stated.
6.3 Winners will be notified using the contact details provided at entry.
6.4 If a winner cannot be contacted within five (5) working days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw or retain the prize.
6.5 The Promoter’s decision is final.
6.6 Competitions may include Instant Win prizes and optional entry features as described on the Website.
6.7 If a Competition is cancelled, entrants will receive a refund or account credit.
6.8 Each Competition draw will take place on the stated closing date, or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter, regardless of the number of entries sold.
7. Prizes – Conditional Prize Structure
7.1 All prizes offered on the Website are operated on a conditional prize basis.
7.2 Prize descriptions, images, and examples displayed on Competition pages are indicative and subject to the conditional prize structure set out in these Terms.
7.2A Illustrative Prizes
Unless otherwise expressly stated, any prize images, descriptions, models, colours, specifications, locations, or examples shown on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. The prize awarded will be of equivalent value and general specification, in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
7.2B Non-Affiliation & Intellectual Property
Competiown Ltd is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to any house builder, property developer, vehicle manufacturer, or product brand unless expressly stated. All trademarks, logos, brand names, and images displayed on the Website remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive and illustrative purposes. Use of such trademarks does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.
7.3 Each Competition may specify a minimum number of paid entries required to award the advertised non-cash prize.
7.4 Where the minimum number of paid entries required to award the advertised non-cash prize is not reached by the closing date, the Competition will still proceed and a winner will be selected in accordance with these Terms.
7.5 In such circumstances, the prize awarded will be a cash prize equal to the total value of paid entries received for that Competition at the time of closure.
7.6 The number of entries sold does not affect the chance of winning. Only the form of the prize (non-cash or cash) may vary in accordance with this section.
7.7 Prizes are non-transferable unless otherwise stated. A cash alternative may be offered at the Promoter’s discretion unless already provided for under this section.
7.8 Delivery within Great Britain is free unless otherwise stated.
7.9 All taxes, duties, registration fees, insurance costs, and personal expenses associated with prize receipt or use are the responsibility of the winner.
Vehicle Prizes
7.10 Vehicle prizes are supplied without road tax or insurance and may not be road legal at the point of delivery. Ensuring road legality, including registration, taxation, insurance, MOT requirements, and compliance with all applicable UK road traffic laws, is the sole responsibility of the winner.
7.10A Where a vehicle prize is offered, any vehicle images, descriptions, models, colours, or specifications shown are for illustrative purposes only unless otherwise expressly stated. The vehicle awarded will be of equivalent value and general specification in accordance with these Terms.
Property Prizes
7.11 Where property-related prizes are offered, the prize will be fulfilled using funds held securely with an independent, regulated solicitor and transferred to the winner in accordance with these Terms and the House Prize Draw – Supplemental Terms below.
7A. House Prize Draw – Supplemental Terms
7A.1 Where a Competition prize consists of a residential property (“Property”), these Supplemental Terms apply.
7A.2 The Property will be acquired and transferred to the Winner using solicitor-held funds following completion of the Prize Draw and winner verification.
7A.3 The Property awarded may not be the same property as any illustrative example shown on the Website, but will be of equivalent value and specification unless otherwise expressly stated.
7A.4 Legal title will be transferred via standard conveyancing procedures. Completion may take several weeks or months and is subject to factors outside the Promoter’s control.
7A.5 The Property is awarded on an “as seen” basis. No warranty is given regarding condition, fixtures, fittings, or suitability for purpose.
7A.6 The Winner is solely responsible for all ongoing and future costs, including council tax, utilities, insurance, maintenance, service charges, ground rent (if applicable), and any applicable taxes or duties including Stamp Duty Land Tax.
7A.7 The Property will be transferred free from any mortgage or secured lending unless otherwise expressly stated on the Competition page.
7A.8 Where the Property is a new-build or recently completed, minor defects or snagging items do not constitute grounds for refusal.
7A.9 No representations are made regarding rental yield, investment value, or future resale value.
7A.10 If the Property cannot be transferred for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, a cash alternative of equal value may be offered.
7A.11 The Winner must provide valid identification and any information reasonably required to complete the transfer.

Entrants’ rights under UK GDPR are detailed in the Privacy Policy.
