By accessing or using the Website, creating an account, or entering any competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.

2. Eligibility & Access
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom to use the Website or participate in competitions.
2.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Website and participation in competitions is lawful in your circumstances.
2.3 We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Website at our discretion, including where misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms is suspected.
3. Account Registration & Security
3.1 To access certain services or enter competitions online, you may be required to register an account using a valid email address.
3.2 Account access is provided via one-time authentication codes sent to your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access details.
3.3 You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

5. Competitions & Conditional Prizes
5.1 All competitions operated by Competiown Ltd are governed by separate Competition Terms & Conditions, which form part of these Terms.
5.2 Entry into competitions may require answering a qualifying skill-based question and complying with entry limits and stated closing dates.
5.3 A free postal entry route is available for all competitions. Full details are provided in the Competition Terms & Conditions.
5.4 All prizes offered on the Website are operated on a conditional prize basis.
5.5 Each competition will close on the stated closing date, or earlier if the maximum number of entries is reached. The draw will take place on the closing date, or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter, regardless of the number of entries sold.
5.6 Where the minimum number of paid entries required to award an advertised non-cash prize is not reached by the closing date:
- the competition will still proceed; and
- the prize awarded will be a cash prize equal to the total value of paid entries received for that competition.
5.7 The number of entries sold does not affect the chance of winning. Only the form of the prize (non-cash or cash) may vary in accordance with the Competition Terms & Conditions.
6. Payments & Refunds
6.1 Where paid entries are offered, payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers.
6.2 Except where a competition is cancelled, payments are non-refundable.
6.3 We reserve the right to suspend or restrict accounts associated with payment disputes, chargebacks, or suspected fraudulent activity.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and software, is owned by or licensed to Competiown Ltd.
7.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any Website content without prior written consent.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
8.1 We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and Data Protection Addendum, in compliance with UK GDPR.

9.2 We are not responsible for:

10.3 Our total liability to you in connection with use of the Website or participation in competitions shall not exceed the value of the prize actually awarded, or where no prize is awarded, the amount paid by you to us in the preceding 12 months.
